Forced Displacement is an exhibition project on Venezuelan migration that explores family fracture as a consequence of migratory processes. Through interactive poems, archival material, and video essays, the exhibition recreates the reunion between twin brothers Nicolás Gerardi Rousset and Augusto Gerardi Rousset after five years of physical separation.Desplazamiento Forzado es un proyecto expositivo sobre la migración venezolana que explora la fractura familiar como consecuencia de los procesos migratorios. A través de poemas interactivos, material de archivo y videoensayos, la exposición recrea el reencuentro entre los hermanos gemelos Nicolás Gerardi Rousset y Augusto Gerardi Rousset tras cinco años de separación física.
The names of the minors who died attempting to cross into the United States during the first four months of 2023. The immersive poem reacts to the audience in the room through a sensor: when a viewer enters, the sound of water stops and the names become legible; when they leave, the names fade and the river's sound returns. A reflection on memory, migration, and post-poetry.Los nombres de los menores de edad que murieron intentando cruzar a los Estados Unidos los primeros 4 meses de 2023. El poema inmersivo reacciona al público en la sala a través de un sensor, cuando el espectador entra a la sala el sonido del agua se detiene y hace los nombres legibles, al abandonar el cuarto, los nombres se desvanecen y el sonido del río retorna. Una reflexión sobre la memoria, la migración y la postpoesía.
